My painting titled “Up on Melancholy Hill” is part of the
upcoming Salmagundi Landscape Exhibition which coincides with the current ARC
Salon Live Exhibition which is on view in the upper gallery. Both Exhibitions
showcase the very best in contemporary realism. The Salmagundi Club, founded in
1871, is one of the oldest art galleries and organizations in America.
The Salmagundi Club became an important center for American realism
and takes great pride in its roster of members which include renowned master artists,
George Inness, William Merritt Chase, Howard Pyle, Frederick Church, Dean
Cornwell, John Francis Murphy, Frank H. Desch, Winston Churchill, N.C. Wyeth, and
many others. If you are in NYC please come out and visit the gallery and see
the new exhibitions. Salmagundi is located at 47 Fifth Avenue in Greenwich Village.
Thanks
